Jylian Gustlin, San Fransiscio
Jylian Gustlin’s Elegraph™ series is quite appropriately titled “Art Living between the Digital and Tactile Worlds”. Jylian created three high-relief dynamic backdrops for her quilted fabric abstract figures. The alta team scaned and digitally sculpted the figures, then worked collaboratively with Jylian to allow the figures to emerge from the surface of the work. By digitally combining the different backdrops and figures, Jylian created a series of five distinct artworks.

Caroline Larsen, New York City
alta digitized multiple sources from Larsen, including "piped" paintings, beadwork, embroidery and photography – all of which are passions the artist, but don’t typically feature in her body of work Under the direction of the artist, the alta team digitally embedded and augmented the various sources, swapping the design of Larsen’s vase to create a series of Elegraph prints.

Amir Hariri, New York City
Inspired by the lifecycle of architecture and decay of buildings in New York City, Amir was drawn to alta’s Elegraph™ printmaking process as an opportunity to transcend between 2D and 3D forms, physically elevating elements and digitally adding shadows to create further depth and illusion.

Lori Goldberg, Vancouver
Living in a city nestled on the coast of ‘Beautiful British Columbia’, Lori is inspired by the incredible landscapes of the Pacific North West. Combining the organic shapes of a hand-painted red cedar, with the photographed manmade shapes of a construction site, Lori experimented with elevation and entanglement of man with nature.
