STALE AMSTERDAM's original portraits are created with a unique dripping technique and often consist of more than 40 layers, using liters of acrylic paint. Working closely with alta™ Creative Studio, STALE AMSTERDAM created this special edition monoprint, which is the one and only true replication of the artist's original Salvador Dali portrait. Plus, this print is accompanied by the artist's debut NFT.
STALE AMSTERDAM's original portraits are created with a unique dripping technique and often consist of more than 40 layers, using liters of acrylic paint. It is a complicated process and requires an intensive, sophisticated way of working because there is no room for corrections.
Working closely with alta™ Creative Studio, STALE AMSTERDAM created this special edition monoprint, which is the one and only replica of the artist's original Salvador Dali portrait. Digitally recreated in a 47¼” x 47¼” (1200mm x 1200mm) Elegraph Print, it is also the first in a series of digital iterations of smaller monoprints. This piece stays true to the exact colours and layers STALE used to create the hand-painted artwork. STALE’s Elepraph Print will also feature the artist’s signature and will be finished in a bespoke frame.
In another artist-first, STALE’s physical Elegraph Print is accompanied by his debut Elegraph-D NFT artwork. The physical print will feature a hidden inscription of the NFT Token, which is printed only into the elevated texture of the print and will seamlessly camouflage with the colour, being detectable only by touch.
Together, STALE AMSTERDAM’s Salvador Dali Elegraph print and NFT provide a fully ‘phygital’ art experience.
This special collection of Elegraph™ prints represent a new body of work for STALE AMSTERDAM, who has never been able to develop textured prints that truly represent the intricate details of his original works.
